Philip Kellman, Chair of the Cognitive Area in the UCLA Department of Psychology, and Christine Massey, Director of Research and Education at the Institute for Research in Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania, present practical recommendations on the effective teaching of math from over 20 years of cognitive research.
