Event Description

Australia's premier conference on the topic of simulation.

Keynote speakers will be provocative and controversial, discussing the issues for sharing knowledge in a competitive environment, challenging whether excellence does equal expensive, advocating for the instability that change brings, testing our ideas of trust and questioning how we survive in the deep end when it all goes pear-shaped.

Why is culture such a barrier to simulation take-up?
Why is our rationale for doing “unethical” things “ethical”?
Is interoperability a red herring?
What skills gaps are we blind to within our own community?
These are just some of the debates we promise to bring to the table when looking at key challenges faced by major Defence projects, training quality, productivity, skills shortage and policy issues in the resources, transport and emergency management sectors.
