Bring Your Own Device/Technology (BYOD/BYOT)

Many schools are implementing, or deciding to implement, BYOD/BYOT programs.  I think this is a great idea as it teaches students how to use their personal devices to supplement/enhance their learning.  I still think there are schools that may not support such a program due to cell phone/device restrictions.  What is the philosophy of your school regarding BYOT?  For additional information, here is the link to a BYOT Network Blog:

Franklin Regional is piloting the a BYOD (same as BYOT) program at our high school right now.  Initial feedback is positive from the teachers at the high school.  The middle school is next for implementing the program.  I will use this blog to help prepare for the implementation for next year.  Thanks Chris!
