Collaboration
Been doing some thinking lately about collaboration within educational organizations. Our new principal is exceptionally collaborative and has gotten us started on Professional Learning Communities. I've notice that some of our groups have launched like rocketships, while others are still sputtering on the pad.
I know this has a great deal to do with the WIIFM (what's in in for me) factor, but I also think that the different personalities in each group have a tremendous influence on buy-in. In researching this, I came across this awesome graphic from Centraldesktop:
