The personal learning network for educators
Hi,
I'm working with a 7th/8th grade language arts teacher. She's interested in creating videos to help some students with different learning styles and needs. She isn't exactly 'flipping her classroom', but some elements are there.
She's especially looking for simple tools to use to create videocasts. She's tried Jing and isn't enamored with it.
Does anyone have other suggestions for tools? Also, she'd like to connect with other teachers doing things like this. Is the Educator's PLN the best choice for connecting on this topic?

Permalink Reply by Bonnie Birdsall on January 9, 2013 at 9:42am She's on a PC, with Windows 7. She would like to mostly capture her screen, but it would be okay if occasionally she put herself in front of the camera. There's not much of a budget for this...
Permalink Reply by Shannon Parker on January 14, 2013 at 3:47pm Camtasia worked well when I used my PC. It links into power point or just recording screen shots. I think the license for one computer is reasonable. If she has access to an IPAD, there are plenty of apps for this.
