The personal learning network for educators
I am developing a page on The Educator's PLN to offer apps and tutorials to expose educators to applications they may have heard about, but have never used. I am trying to tie each of the apps to a video tutorial. I would like you to look over the page and make suggestions in this discussion Page for additional Apps. Try threering to collate photographs of student work, keep notes, tag names, subjects ect. It is a iPad, Smartphone and computer app. Highly recommended!
I think you can add Facebook, Blogs,Podcast and Youtube. You can show a video on how it will be applied in teaching and learning.
Oops, sorry guys! Got bogged down and never ended up adding our apps list! To hold you over for now test out "Endless Alphabet" for young learners. Great for teaching phonics!
Also, "3D Brain" is good for teachers and parents alike! Another one that AWESOME for EVERYONE is "Solar Walk"
Frog dissection?
Just posted this to another discussion, but thought I would mention eduCanon here as well.
One example: Rhonda Mitchell took a TED talk and used eduCanon to embed questions into the video and engage her students. Check it out.
