The Educator's PLN

The personal learning network for educators

I've just read an excellent Tech&Learning article about a book called, The World is Open. The author Curtis J. Bonk paints a very descriptive picture of how he sees learning and technology evolving in the future.

If anybody has read this book, I'd love to hear more about it. However, the points that are covered in the following article are rather intriguing: http://www.techlearning.com/article/25072

- THE EMERGENCE OF LIFELONG SUPER E-MENTORS AND E-COACHES
- QUARTER-CENTURY LEARNING CLUBS
- TERABYTE LEARNING ACCESS POINTS
- THE VENERATION OF LEARNING
- PERSONALIZATION + PORTFOLIOS
- THE SELECTION OF GLOBAL LEARNING PARTNERS
- THE SHARED LEARNING ERA
- TEACHING-LEARNING PERPETUITIES
- THE RISE OF THE SUPER BLENDS
- FREE LEARNING ZONES
- AUTHENTIC LEARNING AMALGAMATIONS
