The Educator's PLN

The personal learning network for educators

I was wondering if anyone could offer suggestions or tips on how someone new to the education field could land a job? I'm currently in the last stretch of my Master's degree in Instructional Technology but want to find a job within a school district eventually as a tech coordinator.

Best thing to do is to put your foot on the front door- put your name on the school district substitute list.

Make sure you stick around and talk with the assigned administrator.

They might not have the position, but you may get a job to teach Tech Ed.

Make sure your Master's give you the credentials to teach- way toooo many horror stories out there!
