I teach Physics and AP Physics, as well as an EMT class in Connecticut. I am also a Paramedic and EMS Instructor. In my previous life I was an Aerospace Engineer for 10 years, working for companies like Sikorsky Aircraft.

I am an educational consultant, and still teach part-time. I teach Technology at the International School of Stuttgart. I use wikispaces at school where all of the work is 'paperless' and much of it online. I've been intrigued by the language of "catch up" which has come from government ministers and even the Children's Commissioner. The idea that lockdown has resulted in lost learning and a widening of the gap can't be disputed but it is the solutions put forward by government which has revealed the reductive nature of the government's attitude to learning and to young people.
