Hi again. I'm wondering if this Ning group is active or not, since I haven't seen any posts in the last week.
I don't plan to post multiple times per day here, but it would be pleasant to share some experiences, thoughts, ideas, issues or innovations related to my area of interest - EFL.
Perhaps the other group members work in international schools, so have no need for such discussions.
If anyone would like to communicate, please let's get some discussion going.
Hopefully,
Greg.

I'm brand new to Ning and the PLN, so please be gentle! However, I've been teaching ESL and EFL now for about six years in Korea, Brunei, Australia (my home), briefly in China, but mainly in Taiwan.
I'm looking forward to sharing with others working in this challenging industry, and I hope to be able to make some small contribution as well.
If nothing else, I would also like to reduce what can be a fairly isolating experience and have some fun along the way.
Greetings to all, Greg.

Still time to participate in letting your views be known through my study

It is not too late in get in on this study. I am looking to interview teachers and principals on how effective they believe they are in influencing student learning while operating under Federal and State mandates and district initiatives. I want to know what you believe the problem to be, what skills or knowledge are not being addressed in these mandates and initiatives and what you believe would best help you in your mission of providing effective, quality education for all students. Teresa Conley replied to Teresa Conley's discussion What are you beliefs about how effectively you are able to deliver instruction while operating under school reform?
