The personal learning network for educators
Here is an activity that I will use the second semester: students will listen to podcasts on itunes and will record their reactions and send them to me via email.

I like to get them to upload their videos on a regular basis so that they can measure their performance as thinkers, doers and speakers! Also they like to make funny videos with their friends and upload. My dream is that our students' educational videos will go viral!
We also listen to Spanish and French songs. They also present their favorite songs in front of the classroom. My AP Spanish class chose a song, translated it, learn it and sang it! It was great! Right now, we are working with French and Spanish Christmas songs.
Permalink Reply by andrew aker on December 4, 2012 at 11:01am Este es muy bien! We are looking for great language teachers who love to innovate here in China. Please let me know if you know any great teachers that want to sharpen their skills and broaden their experience by coming to Asia!
Please send me information about this unique opportunity at gerard.gatoux@hies,org
Permalink Reply by andrew aker on December 6, 2012 at 9:16am Cheers and will do! There are many more opportunities in Asia than just us though. www.eslcafe.com is one of the oldest and most populated online teaching job boards in Asia.
There are some other general job finding sites like www.echinacities.com
and www.chinahr.com too.
