Where do I start?

We're looking at adding, creating, sharing, online courses for our high school students.  I have been asked to start with a buisness plan, but I really feel I'm no where near that point.  Can anyone share his/her expericiences?  Where you started?  How you assessed the need? etc.

That is an excellent question!  I don't have a background in creating a business plan for the purpose of "adding, creating, sharing, online courses for our high school students."  However, I have been known to be rather resourceful at times :)  I work as a faculty developer for online higher ed.  I am sure we can come up with something together!  I'd be happy to brainstorm with you and share ideas!  I found  this on About.com:  http://sbinformation.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi=1/XJ&zTi=1&sdn=s...  -looks interesting!  What do you think?
