The Educator's PLN

The personal learning network for educators

I teach a lot of business people, so I often suggest that they read books like, "The Tipping Point" or "Made to Stick." I think biz books are good for all learners because they usually have one or two main ideas that get rehashed throughout the book.

I've been asking this question to my PLN on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and I will compile my results on my blog. I will also include your name next to the book that you recommend. :)

What books do you recommend?

I highly recommend "Going Dutch in Beijing" by Mark McCrum.

It's a wonderful journey through the do's and do not's of intercultural competence. Firstly, you can read in in short sections, and secondly it's an excellent springboard for discussions in the lessons.
Thanks for a great recommendation, Olaf!
