This is a great idea.  It's my first year and a mentor from here would have absolutely helped with my insane first semester.  I will look through the list of mentors and might just e-mail one.  Thanks for setting this up.  --Mike

You have a great idea here. I'm a sixth grade reading teacher - 13 years...always open to helping. Haven't been contacted yet either.

Thanks to Irene, Larry and JoAnne for writing a comment. I will continue to put the word out about our group. I think I will start posting it on the Edchat group on Face Book. Maybe we will get more opportunities to connect, by making it public there. Thanks so much!

Hi Lisa,

I have no yet been contacted yet either.  I've been teaching first grade for 14 years and would be more than happy to mentor.

Hi Lisa,

I have not been contacted and would so like to help. Before becoming a CC I was  a first and second grade teacher. I am also a fellow of the National Writing Project.

Hi All! Looking to see in the past few months since our group was launched...how many of you have been contacted to be a Mentor. Please add a comment with some feedback for us...it seems that newbies are a bit reluctant to reach out, so we want to know how we can improve the outreach to all of us...Thanks!
