I am a HS English Teacher In Philadelphia. We are moving into a unit on Foundational Documents. A peer and I will be working on a Project hopefully using a ning as the base for creating the author background, purpose for writing and analysis of the documents. I am going to investigate this site for some tools and tricks. If you have any suggestions feel free to add them. I will post later this week soem of the results of our collaboration.

Teach middle school math and science in rural Maine, USA. Looking to try PBL at some level with my students as they are a group that thrives on work for meaning! Relevance rocks.

Hi everyone. I teach 10-12 year olds in a small school in Co Donegal in Ireland. I was working out of the classroom for 10 years and just started back in Sept. I am learning to teach again and trying to catch up with the developments in technology since I left the classroom. I really want to use a project based curriculum in my classroom but am struggling a bit. As yet I don't have a lot to offer here but I hope I'll get ideas and will share as soon as I get started!

I'm entering my second year in a 100% project based learning environment. I would love to build a community of sharing amongst those us that are practicing this in our classrooms.

I love the challenge of deciding what to focus the project on. I find I can't cover everything (I teach MS history), so what I choose has real weight. It is great for skills learning - critical in middle school - but I find I often feel I am skimming over some topics to get to where I want them to be for the next project.

I am doing the Constitutional Convention right now, each student building an identify as a representative from a certain state. It is great, but I blew through the causes of the war at 90 miles an hour to get time for it.

An interesting dilemna!
