Hi! I am working with a 4th grade student. The student needs help in writing. I want to help her include more details and have a clear beginning, middle and end. To help this student, I created a writing organizer, which includes 4 categories: main idea, organized, details, and conventions. What other strategies should I include in my instruction to help my student become a better writer?

Hi! I am working with a 4th grade student. The student needs help with reading comprehension. The student reads fluently, but she struggles to recall what she read. I plan to read out loud to her and ask open-ended questions. We are also going to use graphic organizers and story frames. What else can I do to help this student comprehend read material?
