I am the Director of IT and the Distance Learning Program at Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky. I am directing the project of converting 2/3s of their face to face classes to online classes. My research interest lies in emerging technology and how this type of technology and social media can promote lifelong learning.

Clark Gawletz said… - Hi Ben: This group is a good fit for my professional and educational paths. I am a library assistant for a community based distance delivery program at a small Canadian university, and an education master's student hoping to specialize in educational technology. Recently, I've become involved in developing online courses using blogs to convey assignments, discussion, and online texts. My aim is to establish a design research component into these courses to evaluate their effectiveness. I look forward to contributing to this group.

I have studied for three years and have just defended my dissertation proposal and received Instructional Review Board approval to conduct research. I do a lot of instruction and presentations with web 2.0 technologies and how they are infused with the Pk-16 curriculum and content areas to support teaching and learning.
