It has been 3 years since my last confession/ blog. I have had several enriching opportunities. I hold on to my involvement in establishing a Special Assistance School as a landmark in my teaching career. I learned the value of educational leadership from within the teaching team. The opportunity to design a whole school curriculum that was innovative and made sense to students who were at both ends of the spectrum but at the school because of life circumstance.…

When the brick road changes again in you professional life it impacts on your personal life. As I am told today that I am part of the carnage of the 2.5% of teachers salary cuts for OTEN (TAFE) which will occur every year for the next 4 years; has an unexpected effect on me. As I have never lost a position of employment; I wonder where the road will lead next. I know that I have finished my practicum for my MTeach (Primary), I will be finishing my university…

It is nice to meet you....
I am a Secondary Humanities teacher currently teaching HSC Geography and Business Studies. I have taught most HSIE subjects from Stages 4-6; and I am also an accreditated Religious Education teacher. I have a keen interest in Studies of Asia and how that can be incorporated into teaching programs.
My current studies are Master of Teaching (Primary) at the Australian Catholic University (full time).
I look forward to my PLN growing and developing.
