Hi Jessica - this group looks like it's full of great ideas! I'm a Grade 8 teacher at a middle school, so I guess my students would be in the upper age range for this group, but I've been looking at the ideas being offered here, and so many of them would work perfectly with all sorts of grade levels! A great way to share ideas! :-)
Actually I'm an Illinoisan who lives far enough north in Illinois (Lena) that we made frequent forays into Wisconsin. We often went to Monroe. I love the Kettle Moraine area around East Troy. One of my main concerns with education in America is the stifling effect of high stakes testing.
