Eliminate Tech from the Education Discussion

After five decades of being an educator, I am growing weary of the constant discussion over the divide between education and technology. When will we reach a point where we will discuss Education, teaching and learning without having to debate technology? The idea of learning hasn’t changed since the beginning of time. Can We Memorize Math Facts?

We have a very common phobia with math environments is the fact memorization. So many structured individuals feel it,”Use them and you will eventually learn them”. Over the past nine years, 41 states have cut their education budgets. They’ve slashed teaching positions, increased class sizes, and delayed buying new books and materials.

In the past year, education funding dropped $3 billion dollars. When you factor in the end of federal stimulus money, that number doubles to $6 billion.

How To Celebrate Your Graduation Differently?

Graduation is the biggest event a student lives for, the pleasure of making it through the road is above anything in the world.
