10 Exciting Mother’s Day Gift Ideas for Kids

Mother’s Day is the one time of year dedicated to what our mom’s do for us. There are many things children can make for their moms that don’t require long hours. Other than taking her for a dinner and a memorable family trip, there are many small and inexpensive things you can do to show your love and respect towards her. A little time and creativity are all you need.

Here are 10 exciting Mother’s Day gift ideas for preschoolers. Choose any one of them and let him/her express the love towards her mother.

  1. Footprint Footstool

    Repaint an old wooden footstool. Let each person in the family put a footprint on the stool from largest to smallest. Write in their initials and the date.

  2. Painted Bead Bracelet

    Buy small, unpainted wooden beads and let the children paint them in their mom’s favorite colors. Write a letter on each one for each member of the family or the mom’s name.

  3. Clay Pots

    Small clay pots can be painted and made into small and attractive flower pots. Several clay pots can be placed together to form a small garden.

  4. Popsicle Stick Box

    Glue popsicle sticks together to create a small box. Let the children paint and decorate it however they want.

  5. Ladybug/Bumblebee Rocks

    Take large rocks and paint ladybugs and bumblebees on them. Place them throughout the garden or at the corners of the sidewalk.

  6. Birdhouses

    Birdhouses can be made from milk cartons, gourds or small – birdhouse kits. Paint and decorate as desired.

  7. Hand Painted Canvas Bags and Aprons

    Children can put the handprints on canvas bags and aprons or use markers to draw colorful designs.

  8. Handprint Flowers

    Let each child choose a color of paint and place their handprints on a piece of paper. Draw stems, leaves, and a ribbon.

  9. Handprinted Stepping Stones

    Pour cement or plaster of paris into a square or circular mold. Let each child place their handprint in the mixture and write their name along the top.

  10. Mason Jar Vase

    Tie ribbon around the top of a mason jar to turn it into a vase. You can also fill it with colorful stones for color.

I love celebrating mother’s day as it’s really a special day and love to make my mom feel special and proud. This time couldn’t celebrate with my mother and through an Flower Delivery Near Me services, sent them blooms which they loved.
