I am excited to share some fun information with all of you and it’s in reference to the 2011 Edublog Awards! This is an annual event highlighting the best in the Edublogosphere and Twitterverse.

I am both humbled and thrilled that the hashtag that I founded for New Teacher Chat and for the purpose of beginning an ongoing sharing of support and resources for new and pre-service teachers on twitter, #ntchat has made the shortlist for Best Educational Hashtag.

It is truly an honor to be nominated and I am so appreciative for this belief in what a hashtag can do to change the world!
