- First. Start out with describing some of your memorable first moments- first kiss, love or even the first day at school – strong memories leave tons of emotions that bear excellent stories.
- Atlas. Take the map, close your eyes and randomly put your finger somewhere on it. Pretend that you’re traveling around the spotted country and describe everything you “see, experience or feel”.
- Dream. Think of some of your sacred dreams and write them down to the tiniest detail. Try to answer the questions Who?, What?, When?, Where?, How? and Why?
Put in Order Your Working Place
Writers value their writing spaces, as this is the only place where they can’t be disturbed and feel themselves the most inspirational. If you’re living along with somebody else, let your family members/friends/roommates know that you need some quiet and claim your writing time. It’s always better to warn that you’ll be unavailable for another hour or two beforehand. If you still haven’t found your 'spot', explore your possible options. Maybe you’ll feel comfortable somewhere in the backyard of your house or in the attic and you will finally experience that “flow” of inspiration you have been always waiting for.
