The personal learning network for educators
Academic rigor plays a vital role in providing our students with the highest quality of education. The following Prezi was designed as a reference for strategies that promote effective research-based instructional strategies based upon Robert Marzano's "Nine Instructional Strategies for Effective Teaching and Learning". How can you incorporate these strategies in your classroom to support student learning needs and improve student achievement?

These strategies are pretty straightforward but think of ways to bring them alive for your students, how can they be used to engage and motivate students? Think about the diverse students in your classroom and how you can individualize these strategies for their benefit.
"Teaching is a creative profession...what great teachers also do is mentor, stimulate, provoke, engage..education is about learning, if there is no learning going on there is no education going on" (Robinson, 2013, TED Talks)
