Not too many teachers in our city know the power of the internet in helping teachers learn and grow. They still thing it is a waste of time. its not on their radar screen. When I found this network it felt like I found a hidden treasure. and It was twitter that lead me to this treasure.

I started twitter in 2008. I tweeted in Arabic and I made some friends. I was the only teacher. It felt lonely, But after one year I decided to start my English Account. The purpose was to listen, read and learn. I am writing this post because I feel all the teachers around me in my city are soo not interested in creating networks and creating content. Here I feel I am in virtual teacher learning center, A place where teachers share, learn, and grow.

Hi Samir,

This is certainly a very good place to meet educators, share, learn and grow. I look forward to our interactions.
