At Warren School, we understand the importance of bringing engaging and enriching opportunities to our students through many varied ways. Today, not only is Warren School receiving a permanent wifi system and netbook cart for classes to use as technology is implemented into everyday instruction, but students will also be participating in an activity that is a bit more down to earth....literally. Today, each student will also take part in the tenth growing season of our school garden, Harvest of Dreams, by sowing a variety of vegetable seeds. Students will engage in every aspect of the garden---sowing, preparing the beds, transplanting, maintenance. Students and families maintain the garden and transport the produce to area soup kitchens throughout the summer. It's this healthy balance of combining new and current technology with wholesome, fundamental activities such as those gained through gardening that will help our students thrive.
