Using Glogs in Your Classroom (From: Ignite. Incite. Inspire.)

I recently posted on using Glogs in the classroom. My post includes a downloadable rubric and checklist for evaluation. Check it out and let me know how it goes for you - especially if you have not used this web 2.0 technology before. If you are using glogs already, I would love any lesson ideas that have been successful for you.

We just shared glogs titled, "All About Me'  with  our new penpals.  We posted them on Edmodo. We created a list of information the students put on the glog.  The students were very creative!

Catch up or recovery?

I've been intrigued by the language of "catch up" which has come from government ministers and even the Children's Commissioner. The idea that lockdown has resulted in lost learning and a widening of the gap can't be disputed but it is the solutions put forward by government which has revealed the reductive nature of the government's attitude to learning and to young people.
