The personal learning network for educators
There are times in the classroom that teachers would like to play YouTube videos for their students but they don't want the "other stuff" around the video also displayed. This extra stuff can come in the form of inappropriate comments, ads, and additional videos on the side of the main video. There is a Web2.0 tool called ViewPure that will strip off all of the "extras" around the YouTube video and just display the video you would like to show. It is very easy to use, and I recommend that you check it out. All you need to provide is the YouTube URL (e.g. Web address) and ViewPure will only display the YouTube video. This is great for classroom applications.
