David, that is so true...students know so much about technology, even my preschool students can grab a phone and navigate through youtube and find their favorite video. I recently brought a digital camera into my preschool classroom and it is amazing what a three year old can do with a camera.

Great article, Rachelle.  When students are given the opportunity to share and discuss the reading of their favorite book, reading will become more meaningful.  The educator had a great idea of students recording a podcast of their favorite book.  It is very interesting on how easy technology is for the elementary students, sometimes the elementary students may even know more about technology when compared to their teachers' knowledge level.
