Perhaps the use of the word propoganda was misguided. My sincerest apologies. I am aware that it was on the portal site, and I happened to discover it one day, and thought it was great. I look forward to the day that this can become a reality in New Brunswick schools. I think you would be hardpressed to find someone that is more for the ideas in this video than me, but I don't see it happening where I am, however I look forward to three years down the road when we will participate.

This video was released to all New Brunswick educators in April of this year on both the secure portal and youtube. Every administrator in the province was given access during the consultation process. I am surprised to hear someone generalize in this way. A little research would have better informed. As for it being a propaganda piece, enourmous effort has been undertaken to this point to make certain we are on the right path. In addition, the examples cited in the video are actually happening in our schools. In September, 30 additional early adopter schools from across all districts will begin this journey. Over the course of three years, all schools will be participating.

Thanks for posting this! I saw this while exploring our province's portal site a few months ago... interesting how something so cutting edge can come from our system... but none of the teachers in the province are really aware of it. It would be nice if this was more than just a propoganda piece!
