This is actually a very effective brain-based strategy.  The brain is receiving input from multiple senses...therefore more avenues to access in memory.  Excellent!

haha was it perhaps too noisy to continue? as a positive, the students look like they are enjoying the activity and there is research to support the strategy of using movement and actions when learning (which is further demonstrated as the clip progresses). on the other hand, this seems like an exhausting strategy for both the teacher and the students. when used appropriately (when students are fidgety, after a phys ed. class, etc.) it could help focus the students, but it's hard for me to see this being implemented full day. at the end of the day, i think this video still provided me with a strategy to use given then right context.

I only watched to 1:38... but I'm not exactly taken by this.  Anybody else have a comment - I don't want to be the negative guy but would love to hear what people see as good and what people see as bad.
