Event Description

In a "Tools and Strategies" session this week Sue Wyatt aka tasteach joins us. Sue is "a nearly retired teacher bringing the world of Web2.0 into her classroom". She will talk about her highly successful Student Blogging Challenge. A heads up on what will be happening this year and how you can get involved with your students. The Student Blogging Challenge has run for three sessions. It began with about 500 students from 8 countries and has now developed to over 3000 students from 15 countries. The challenge is for beginner bloggers, veteran bloggers, commenters and classes. Each week a new activity is posted and teachers may use as they wish in their classroom and hopefully link back to the original post.
Date and time Thursday 7th Jan at 23:00GMT (time conversion here) EST in the calendar for consistency with other events
