I am a secondary-school English teacher (AP Eng Lang; American Lit; former AP Eng Lit; also teach Journalism and Creative writing. Yeah, I'm busy).

I have a blog I hope you will visit: http://prettyfreaky.blogspot.com

I blog about writing, teaching writing, teaching lit, and more. If you have any interest in those subjects, drop by. I often provide lesson ideas, too!

Best,

EC

I'm taking over the AP Eng Lang for my school next year. I'm building myself a Professional Learning Network through Google+ and Twitter so I can share/receive ideas and resources from a larger pool than, well, simply myself. I know this post is old, but I'm casting a wide net, so let me know if you're still actively involved with AP English! My twitter name is @uprepbird and on Google+ I'm Sean Bird.

Thanks!

I am an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) teacher in London in the UK. I'm a new blogger - I started in January - and I blog at http://mikeharrison.edublogs.org. My blog is a place for me to share my experiences and thoughts on teaching ESOL, as well as lesson plans and tips. I've also blogged a little on using video and video players in the classroom.

I, like others, blog to see what others think about things I have an opinion on. Also I think blogging enables us to see things from different perspectives.
I just started the whole blogging this recently, and it can be found at http://successforeverychild.wordpress.com/. It is for general reflections on education, written from the perspective of an administrator. I currently serve as a middle school assistant principal.
I am a pre service Secondary Ed student at Penn State University. My blog explores a newly created and ever expanding personal learning network, and discusses my experiences/ thoughts as a student looking forward to teaching high school English. I blog at caitlinmulroy.wordpress.com.
I blog at http://progressiveearlychildhoodeducation.blogspot.com. I am an early childhood teacher at a progressive preschool in Australia with an interest in alternative education and reconnecting children with the natural world.
Hi,

I just launched my blog on 4/2/2010 so I am definitely a newbie. If you would like to give me any feedback, I would be forever grateful.

I taught first grade for five years and then went back to school to get my master's degree and a reading specialist credential. I am an active member of the International Reading Association, California Reading Association, and the Orange County Reading Association. I am the current President Elect of the latter. I will be blogging about teaching reading and will likely focus heavily on struggling readers.

My blog can be found at: http://twrctank.com/

I look forward to learning and sharing with you.
I blog at Learning Today. I review free teacher technology resources, edtech news and policy, and much more.
I'm an elementary principal (K-5) in Virginia. My blog focuses on doing things differently in an effort to reach all students and save the world.

I'm a high school mathematics teacher (AP Statistics and Calculus). My blog is for students and teachers alike to read. Sometimes it's a bit cynical of a view of educational practice.

Ironically this blog, along with Math For All Ages and The Innovative Educator are blocked on school computers.
I am an English Teacher in a 9-12 High School in Seymour, Wisconsin. I blog about Family, Faith, and Education. I am also publishing a book currently with Mill City Press, Beyond the Scoreboard: Examining Teamwork, Tension, and Triumph in High School Athletics, that will soon be available.

My blog site is www.jsteltz.wordpress.com
Thanks for starting this list, Mary Beth!! I'm finding some great new blogs to follow. I actually have several blogs that I work on, but I'll only list the two I use the most:

Miss McMillan's Blog - This is the blog I use to communicate with my students and their parents.

Notes From McTeach - I guess you'd consider this my "professional" blog, although I can get off the education topic now and then. :)

Thanks again!

More Than a Sport: A Look at Scootering’s Evolution

Too many people do not have a clear idea about what is a Scooter; and much less than there is a sport based on it. Besides, it is a sport that has evolved a lot from its beginning, but if you do not know too much about the sport is hard to see it as more than a kid game. However, this sport is more than just kids and young people making scooter tricks in a square; scootering is a kind of culture and a lifestyle that has more than 20 years growing to become what it is today. For this reason, we…See More
