I think our cultural diversity makes us a more accepting society in general and I think this flows into the classroom as well in regards to being open to new ideas, perspectives, etc.

Thanks Adele for the comment. It is true we have an amazing country with geography as diverse as our cultures and languages. I think our mosaic approach to society transcends into how our classrooms are run.

Just browsing this PLN and noticed your group. I am an educator from Manitoba. I dont know how we stand out from the rest of the world but i do know that i love the geography, topography, many languages spoken and the diverse, cultural people who live in this vast country, eh!
