The The University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism recently created Stroome a tool unlike YouTube, allows users to upload, edit, mix and share video. I can see a tool like this being integrated into the classroom allowing users to edit and create videos from a distance.

I have an article, Sharing Stories Using Online Editors, about some web 2.0 tools I love. Places like Storybird, Storyjumper, Toon Doo etc , all sites that encourage kids to read, write, and communicate. List of my favourites, plus links to my reviews.

I do not know why many teachers are afraid or not excited to use skype as a learning tool between teachers to exchange and share thoughts and experiences. I think if it spreads between teachers first that will lead the way to be used by students in the classroom. I really think teachers ought to start to skype more.

More Than a Sport: A Look at Scootering’s Evolution

Too many people do not have a clear idea about what is a Scooter; and much less than there is a sport based on it.
