Hi Raman- I'm @Roy_Norris in Twitter. Finding a time/place where a pile of us could meet just seems like a neat idea to me. I imagine that pockets of 21st C learning, 1:1, ICT integration & so on are going on all over, and I'm looking for good examples close to home. It doesn't make sense to me that I should have to go to Maine, Alberta, or New Brunswick to see new learning with new tools- there have to be really cool things going on here in Manitoba too!

Hi- Roy Norris here, I teach at Dakota Collegiate in Winnipeg.

23 of us on edupln say we are from Winnipeg. Those of you who are long-standing members might know how to set up a group & invite each of us...I've only been in this network a few days. I am sending this note to all 23 of us.

My interests- promoting 21st century learning and 1:1 laptop learning in Manitoba. We have a start in the LRSD, I know that 7 Oaks has a MET School, Pembina Trails was in the news with Edutube...what else is going on in our Province?

I was at the Emerge 2010 conference in Banff this summer- pretty incredible presentations from New Brunswick, a few districts in Alberta, and the state of Maine. I wonder about how long it will take here in Manitoba.

To do:
Respond to this post.
Let me know if we have interests in common.
and...Go to SAG!
