Sorry. When I joined the website I was not at my home computer. I did not have access to a picture of myself. I am adding one now though!

I looked for and didn't find the Tenure forum. Perhaps I missed it? My school for the last 4 years offers only year to year contracts.

Thank you Tom. I have been meaning to join you for a while - I'm just not the worlds greatest "joiner" & already belong to too many things that I neglect doe to lack of time. I have (I think) added next weks session to the events page - these are weekly sessions (alternately unconference type and on specific topics like Shelly's one). Do you know if there is a way either to sync with a Google calendar or to put in recurring events?

We really should look for a way to combine our two Ning sites together. I could add you as a tab on my ning just as I have added technology Integration in Special Ed on my Ning site. Just a thought.

Hi Tom, I just got your note about the embedded Edchat. Have you guys considered using http://twubs.com/edchat/ to embed? It's a more robust embeddable hashtag aggregate. I look forward to getting more involved in the education/technology conversation.

Good morning Mr Thomas (here in Brazil is just 7:00 am). First of all, I would like to thank you so much for this ning. It's a fantastic iniciative. Congratulations! I am learning a lot. Seconly, I would like to suggest a button to "edit" our posts. In my case, I am always deleting some messages after some hours of posting them because I have noticed some mistakes or some ideas that I didn't explain well. Is it possible? Without deleting the message and re-posting it? I have just deleted my post on "'PLN Explained" and posted it again because I wanted to say "new" and I wrote "knew" and I also completed my initial idea... I saw this mistake this morning.
Thank you very much. Have a great week!

More Than a Sport: A Look at Scootering’s Evolution

Too many people do not have a clear idea about what is a Scooter; and much less than there is a sport based on it. Besides, it is a sport that has evolved a lot from its beginning, but if you do not know too much about the sport is hard to see it as more than a kid game. However, this sport is more than just kids and young people making scooter tricks in a square; scootering is a kind of culture and a lifestyle that has more than 20 years growing to become what it is today. For this reason, we…See More
