I like Monika's comment about friends. What is the purpose of having a friends box, and repeating the request/accept process? If you joined a private group site, you automatically have similar interests and become friends with everyone. If you want specific discussions, join that group and vuala. Thanks for creating this site. Seems to be a hit.

i have a question about friends - because i have a student ning going...
how did i end up with 4 friends - without the request process? do you know?
and as the creator - is there a way to become every members friend? or do you have to do it per each person?
